How to get licensed with Hitting Targets for an A and B Category Longarm (Rifle & shotgun)

1. Complete the ONLINE THEORY COMPONENT

Firearm Safety Training Course – longarms (rifle & shotgun) A & B category https://firearmtraining.com.au/courses/pre-licence-qualification-course/
Cost is $143.00 for Adults or $77.00 for 12-18 years.

2. Complete the PRACTICAL COMPONENT

Cost is $20 to cover ammunition, targets and range fees

3. Join a Target Shooting and/or a recreational hunting club

In order to satisfy your ‘genuine reason’ for registration, shooters must join a target shooting club or a hunting club or have approved access to primary production land
